Robin’s Growth at Work: Confidence Built One Step at a Time

Through supported employment services at SAILS, a member of Redwood Family Care Network, Robin began working at Safeway as a Courtesy Clerk. Robin experienced moments of anxiety and uncertainty about his abilities, and there were days when the learning curve felt especially steep.

His support team worked alongside him, helping him break tasks into manageable steps and encouraging him to practice until those tasks became familiar. Today, Robin takes great pride in his work and has become a valued member of the Safeway team. He confidently assists coworkers with tasks such as using the hand pallet jack, has memorized the layout of the store, and frequently helps customers locate items.
