William (Bill) Hale is the Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer directing the multiple initiatives the company pursues and is also responsible for the company’s merger and acquisition activity.
Bill has been a Senior Level Healthcare Executive for over 30 years and prior to Redwood had been the President and CEO of Beech Street Corporation, the country’s largest privately owned preferred provider organization and was formerly the President of Community Psychiatric Centers, a 50 hospital chain providing psychiatric, behavioral, mental health and alcoholism and addiction treatment services on inpatient and outpatient campuses. Before his recruitment to Community Psychiatric Centers he was the Senior Vice President of Operations for Charter Medical Corporation, the country’s largest chain of 135 psychiatric, mental health, behavioral, chemical dependency, hospitals, treatment centers, residential centers, and diverse day treatment programs, with locations throughout the United States, Puerto Rico, Switzerland and the UK.
Throughout his career, Bill has routinely served on and chaired diverse Healthcare Boards of Directors and enjoyed long lasting relationships with many Private Equity Investment Firms specializing in Healthcare and worked closely in advisory and consulting roles with the country’s Intelligence Agencies on their Healthcare programs and service needs.
He attended the University of Missouri at KC, Missouri for his Undergraduate work in Business Administration and Sociology and his Graduate Studies in Behavioral Sciences at the University of Iowa.
He is a native Kansas City Missourian and has a deep passion for the KC Chiefs.
His greatest joys in life are his daughters and helping to find ways to improve the lives of diverse populations of people in need of services, support or help.
