Redwood Family Care Network Announces Chief Officer Promotions

Chino Hills, CA – Redwood Family Care Network is announcing several key leadership promotions that will further advance the company’s mission to deliver world class community-based services and supports to individuals and families with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Michael Kaiser, the founder of People’s Care 24 years ago, and most recently as the first CEO of Redwood Family Care Network, has transitioned to the role of Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors. While working at Lanterman Developmental Center, Mr. Kaiser identified the need to develop high quality person-centered residential supports. He responded by developing the first residential program in Los Angeles County and established People’s Care on April 1, 1998.Through the years, his vision to deliver high quality services and supports led to the statewide expansion of innovative residential and day program services. We thank Michael Kaiser for his vision and leadership, and we look forward to his continued guidance in his new role. In turn, Tony Kueter has been promoted to the Chief Executive Officer as of April 1, 2022. Tony has served as the Chief Operations Officer for Redwood Family Care Network and People’s Care since 2008. “It has been the greatest honor to serve as the Chief Operations Officer for the past 14 years. Our team has created so many life fulfilling opportunities for the people we support and assist so many in accomplishing their individualized dreams. This has been my most important accomplishment. I am very excited to begin the next chapter as our Chief Executive Officer,” said Kueter.

Redwood Family Care Network also celebrates the promotion of Michelle Mainez to Chief Operations Officer. Mrs. Mainez has served as the Executive Director of Community Engagement and Development for People’s Care and Redwood Family Care Network and contributes 27 years of experience in operating community-based services and supports with a passion for developing leaders. Michelle’s vision is to honor the world class legacy built by Michael Kaiser and Tony Kueter, while paving pathways of opportunity, continuous improvement and innovation.

Chief Strategy Officer, Bill Hale, will assume the additional title of Executive Vice President and will additionally manage acquisition and integration activities as Redwood grows and expands. Chief Financial Officer, David Cottrell, continues to oversee Finance, Contract & Revenue Management, IOT and Human Resource Management.
