Michelle Mainez

Michelle Mainez serves as the Senior Vice President of Strategy & Quality for Redwood Family Care Network, where she leads enterprise-wide strategic initiatives to advance the organization’s mission of delivering world-class, person-centered services. In this role, Michelle is responsible for organizational performance, project management, and legislative outreach. With more than 30 years of experience in health and human services, she brings a strong track record of driving innovation and quality in supports for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across the lifespan.

Michelle’s career with Redwood began at People’s Care as Executive Director of Community Engagement and Development, where she led legislative advocacy, communications, branding, and co-founded the agency’s Retention and Culture Committee. She later served as Chief Operating Officer, overseeing operations and guiding development efforts in partnership with regulatory stakeholders. In this new chapter of her career, Michelle is focused on supporting current and future organizational leaders to deliver on Redwood’s world-class mission and uphold a culture of excellence.

A first-generation college graduate, Michelle holds a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from California State University, San Bernardino. She is active in her community through the National Charity League and high school band boosters. Outside of work, she is a proud wife and mother of two daughters who finds purpose in inspiring others to use their talents to create meaningful change—with a daily dose of humor and heart.
