Melissa Gabourie

Melissa began working with individuals diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or Developmental Disabilities in 2002. Prior to joining the CBEM team, Melissa started her career in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis and has experience designing and supervising early intensive models of ABA therapy as well as functional adaptive skills training models and crisis intervention. Melissa graduated with her Bachelors in Psychology from National University and completed Behavior Analytic coursework through Florida Institute of Technology. Melissa joined the Clinical Leadership Team at CBEM in 2020 as an Assistant Director, and has contributed to CBEM teams as an Interim Program Director and Program Director. Melissa became a Regional Director in 2024. Melissa has a passion for empowering individuals with disabilities and fostering supportive work environments.

In addition to her professional expertise, Melissa is a devoted mother to three children and enjoys spending time outdoors, loves to cook, and listen to music.
