John Masamori

John Masamori is the Vice President of Human Resources at Redwood Family Care Network, where he leads the company’s people strategy in support of its mission to provide high-quality, person-centered care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). With over 30 years of experience in human resources leadership, John has helped organizations grow, evolve, and cultivate strong, mission-driven cultures.

At Redwood, he is focused on building scalable HR systems that support employee engagement, operational excellence, and long-term growth. He brings a thoughtful, people-first approach while also leveraging technology, data, and AI tools to modernize HR practices across the organization.

John’s background spans both corporate and nonprofit sectors, with a consistent focus on aligning human capital strategies to organizational goals. He formerly served on the Design Thinking Advisory Board at the University of California, Riverside, and holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Colorado Denver.
